Episode 2

A Joy Is Coming

Joy is not the absence of hardship, it is the confidence that God remains faithful through it. In Episode 2 of The LightWorks Podcast , Trey shares an honest message about pain, perseverance, salvation, and the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Difficult seasons can make us feel forgotten, discouraged, or tempted to give up, but our present suffering is not the end of the story. Through Scripture and personal reflection, this episode explores how God continues to love us even when we struggle, doubt, or run from Him. Like the prodigal son, it is never too late to turn around and come home. Christ has not abandoned you, and the joy He offers is greater than anything this world can take away. Keep believing. Keep the faith. Keep trusting that morning is coming. Scriptures discussed: Psalm 30:5, 2 Corinthians 4:17, Psalm 126:5, Romans 15:13, Romans 5:1–2, and Luke 15:18, 20–24.

Why LightWorks exists

Faith is meant for everyday life.

LightWorks was created to make room for honest Christian conversations—the kind that do not pretend life is easy, but never lose sight of the One who is faithful.

Hosted by broadcaster and storyteller Trey Avery, each episode brings Scripture into the real questions, difficult seasons, personal testimonies, current events, and even sports conversations that shape our lives.

The mission is simple: shine truth through every conversation and point people toward Jesus, the Light of the world.
